Nose surgery (Rhinoplasty) / Septoplasty

Rhinoplasty

Nose surgery

Rhinoplasty is the intervention which main objective is improving the appearance of the nose, either to reshape the tip, remove a hump or improve an angle between the nose and the upper lip that is not very harmonious.

It also helps to improve respiratory problems and correct deviations of both the nasal skeleton and the septum.
Since both are important It is very difficult to separate the functional aspect from the aesthetic one, in most of the situations, the modifications that must be carried out in the nose for an aesthetic improvement, almost necessarily have an action on the septum.
Action on the septum is required not only to correct the functional problem, but also to improve the aesthetic appearance by correcting the deviation.
The conjunction of specialties in this procedure is of vital importance, that is why Dr. Lázaro Cárdenas performs this surgery in conjunction with his wife Dr. María Teresa Guerrero García who is a certified Otolaryngologist, that is why a specialized and complete service in both areas.
